In
these last several years Argentine Tango has gone through a phase
of international popularity boom. The ritual of las milongas has spread all over the world. The transmission of culture into
its practice is becoming the subject of study for a host of tango
teachers in Buenos Aires and the world. Moreover, the crowing
demand of tango practitioners has generated new perspectives and
methods for the research of modern teaching techniques.
Due to this conducive environment the doors have
been opened for the evolution and betterment of knowledge and structure.
Tango Sensodinamia®
is one such new method
of learning tango. It is based in understanding of essential,
structural elements of shared movement dynamics, in terms
of the embrace and in relation to other couples on the dance floor.
It is a search that attempts to elucidate the perception of fluidity
beyond the known choreographic stereotypes. The creator of
this method, tango teacher Natacha Iglesias, is actively involved
in artistic movement of the city of Buenos Aires and various cultural
centers around the world, organizing regular group classes, workshops
and giving individual lessons. On this site you can find her
articles, schedule of her activities and other information.
